I have a blank wall above my desk that I stare at everyday and it needs some artwork. So . . . I have decided to commission Ivan to create something to fill the space. We picked up a giant canvas, put Ivan in his diaper, gave him some paint and brushes and let him go to town. It is still a work in progress, but this is a little sneak peak. I will reveal the final piece once it's hanging on our wall—can't wait to see what he comes up with :).
That's wonderful! What a great idea for above your desk. Where did you find such a large canvas? He is really off to a great start. I'm looking forward to seeing the final result!

Thanks Lauri! We just bought it at Michael's and it's actually built really well. They occasionally have 40-50% off sales and we happened to hit one of those weekends. Either way . . . much cheaper and a lot more fun than buying a piece of artwork that large.

ReplyDeleteIt is a great idea to give child a big canvas, colors and wait to watch what he is coming out of...even not a bad idea to experiment such an interesting thing with a small kid's mind.
